Drnovšček Farm "Kovačevi"
Our farm, called “Kovačevi” is located in the centre of the Brda region, in a small village called Vedrijan.
Favourable weather conditions, fertile soil and closeness to the Brda land have made it possible for us to engage in fruit growing and wine making, and in the last year also in olive oil production.
Production of domestic, quality fruit is the principal motto of our farm. By including our orchards in the integrated, ecological, nature friendly production, we offer daily fresh seasonal fruit.

Specialty of the house:
We have differend varieties of fruit, from the first to the late varieties of cherries, which are harvested for 6 weeks, peaches, apricots, pears, figs, plums and persimmons, kiwis and olives.
Fruits are sold fresh, unprocessed and we make sure that the time from when the fruit is harvested to when the customer receives it is as short as possible. Our goal is to offer our customers ripe fruit as only these are delicious, fragrant and juicy…
During the harvest season we offer sell at home or in the orchard.
During the years we sell varietal extra virgin olive oils:
- belica,
- leccino,
- buga,
- črnica, and
- a mixture of these varieties.
By prior arrangement we also organize olive oil tastings.
